With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of MaryAnn DeSio of Seaford, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 19, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, MaryAnn shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid MaryAnn farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, John, Patricia Blake, JoAnn Keenan (Edward), Kathleen Ryan (John) and Carol Cherette. She was also cherished by 9 Grandchildren And 4 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home (3863 Merrick Rd, Seaford, NY 11783). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at the Holy Rood Cemetery (111 Old Country Rd, Westbury, NY 11590).
