We bid farewell to Marie Swierkowski of Seaford, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 15, 2025 at the age of 100. Marie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Giuseppe Amuso and Teresa Amuso; her husband Edward Swierkowski; and her son Edward Swierkowski. She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Jeanne; her son Joseph (Connie); her grandchildren, Lisa Swierkowski, Lynn Dinger (Christopher), Nicole Matzelle (JT) and Vincent Swierkowski (Hayleigh Courtney); her great grandchildren, Ryan Dinger, Brianna Dinger, Avery Dinger, Jon Taylor Matzelle and Cole Swierkowski; her siblings, Rudy, Victor, Dominic Amuso and Christina Puglisi; and her nephew Anthony Puglisi.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the James Funeral Home (540 Broadway, Massapequa, NY 11758). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:45 AM.
