She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Douglas; her sons, Douglas and Christopher; her parents, H. Robert Valerga and Dorothy Beckman Valerga; her parents-in-law, Deborah Spilabotte and Robert; her brother Paul Valerga (Deborah); and her friend Maria Ferrante-Schepis (James).
