It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Scandura of Scriba, New York, born in Oswego, New York, who passed away on September 14, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ottmer Charles See and Hazel L. See (Smith); her sons, Robert Davies (Kim) of Childwold, Richard Davies (Melinda) of Pulaski and John Davies of Pulaski; her stepdaughters, Kim Scandura (Bill Harrington) of Oswego and Donna Wright of Oswego; her sister Janet Emmons of Hannibal; her grandchildren, Bryan Davies, Kecia Schell (Ben), Christopher Davies (Leslie), Caleb Davies (Claudia) and Eric Davies; her stepgrandchildren, Jeffrey Brown, Tristan Sheffield, Raymond Wright and Danielle Wright; her husband George J. Scandura Jr.; her son Glenn Davies; and her stepdaughter Stephanie Sheffield. She was also cherished by seven great-grandchildren.
The unvaccinated are required to wear a mask in adherence with the CDC guidelines for the calling hours and the service.
