She is survived by: her husband John Whalen Sr; her grandsons, Todd Kingsley and Joey Hammond III; her stepmother Genevieve Capizzi; her siblings, Alfred Capizzi, Joseph Capizzi and Kathleen Palermo; her significant other Bill Madill of Scriba; her children, Theresa Woolson (Steven) of Oswego, Michelle Kingsley, Michael Whalen of Oswego, Donna Whalen of Oswego and Colleen Whalen of Oswego; and her sibling Peter Capizzi (Marilyn) of Camillus, NY. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
