With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leona Lou Smith of Scriba, New York, who passed away on November 27, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth L. "Pat" Sherman and Marion L Sherman (Hall); her husband Gordon C. Smith of New Haven; her son Gordon E. Smith; and her brother Lawrence L. Sherman.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Smith (Melissa) and Joanne Littler; her grandchildren, Ryan Littler, Leanna Littler-Woolf (Bryan) and Trevor Littler (Brittany); and her sisters, Louise Meyer and Betty Kane (William).
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Foster Funeral Home (910 Fay St, Fulton, NY 13069). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Vermillion Cemetery (220 Johnson Rd, Mexico, NY 13114).
