With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas M. Gehan of Scriba, New York, born in Oswego, New York, who passed away on December 18, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas A. Gehan and Florence Gehan (Walpole); and his brothers, Gregory and Jeffrey Gehan. He is survived by: his wife Alissa; his children, Loralee McMahon (Scott) of Rochester, Zachary Gehan (Abigail) of Utica and Mark (Heather) of Rochester; his siblings, James Gehan (Linda) of Oswego, Sandra Russ (Harold) of Georgia and Shawn Gehan of Virginia; his grandchildren, Madeline, Claire McMahon, Leona, Laelynn Gehan, Emmett, Alice and Kate Gehan; and his aunts, Maida and Patricia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Douglas worked at General Electric where he was given an annual award for his contributions to the engineering department.
