She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Nelson; and her daughter Yvonne Nelson. She is survived by: her sons, Howard Jr. (Lesli) and John Daniel Nelson (Stephanie); her foster daughter Sue Ellis (Tim); and her sisters, Florence Moore (Tom) and Barbara Jones (John).
