He was predeceased by: his daughter Rachel Whitlow; his parents, Sylvester Whitlow and Dorothy Whitlow; and his siblings, Wayne Whitlow and Sheila Whitlow.

He is survived by: his siblings, Linda Whitlow, Nina Johnson (Charles) and Calvin Whitlow. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
