He was predeceased by: his parents, James Vincent Castronovo and Alice. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Castronovo; his children, Nicole and Justin Castronovo; his siblings, Gerard Castronovo (Sita), James Castronovo (Denise) and Linda Castronovo; and his fathers-in-law, Don Benz (Eudene) and Steven Benz (Betsy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation in his memory.
