He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Thomas and Laura Thomas; and his siblings, Anna France, Nora Ness, Lillian Garwood, Marian Melenbecker, Louis Thomas, George Thomas and Ethel Calkins.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Thomas (Sutterlin); his daughters, Terry Thomas (Joanna) and Sondra Thomas (Adam); his brother Bill Thomas; and his grandchildren, Briana Montanaro and Emmett Montanaro. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
