We are sad to announce that on July 12, 2024, at the age of 61, Michael Stephen Burns of Scotia, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Michael touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his mother Noreen M. Cox Burns. He is survived by: his father Robert S. Burns; his wife Tracy L. Ferris Burns; his children, Matthew Burns (Kiera Blais) and McKenzie Berberich (Emmett); his grandson Owen Blais; and his siblings, Kathleen Zieziulewicz (T. J.) and Robert W. Burns (Michelle). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
