He was predeceased by: his parents, Volney Davenport and Thelma Maude Stryker Davenport; his wife Mary Elizabeth Rolls; his grandson John; his great grandchildren, Jayden Holloman, Auden Sykes and Logan Faulkner; and his siblings, William P. Davenport, Henry Gorton Davenport, Frank K. Davenport, Thelma G. Sadler and Kathryn M. Davenport.
He is survived by: his children, Connie Bruhl (Jeff) of Scio, Volney Davenport (Keely) of Crystal Springs, MS, Ron Davenport (Faith) of Scio, Lori Howden (Jim) of Wellsville, Ty Davenport (Kathy) of Scio, Tina Davenport Layman of Hilton, Sam Davenport (Debbie) of Louisa, VA and Cindy Davenport of Bradford, PA; and his sisters, Marion Rounds of Scio and Waneta Barr of Scio. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren.
