We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Sally Jayne Murray of Scio, New York, born in Hornell, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James K. Rahr and Lorena Rahr (Eaton). She is survived by: her husband Garold "Jerry" E. Murray; her sons, Brian "Monkey" Hess, Gary Murray of Scio and Christopher Murray of Scio; her stepdaughter Laura Young of Wellsville; her grandchildren, Carley Young, Broderick Young, Ashley Kear (Steve), Megan Murray and Leah Murray; and her great grandchildren, Abbie Lanphier, Alexis Kear, Madison Kear and Easton Kear. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by: a sister, Patti Smith, and two brothers, Dale W. Smith, and Terry Smith. Friends are invited to call, (following NYS Covid protocol), on Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 2pm – 4pm and 7pm – 9pm at the J. W. Embser Sons Funeral Home, in Wellsville (34 West State Street). The funeral will be private.
