It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise M. Coates of Scio, New York, born in Rexville, New York, who passed away on November 21, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Birmingham and Margaret Birmingham (Keegan); her husband Ralph Coates; and her siblings, Gertrude McCormick, Mary Francisco, Helen Murphy, Donald, Robert and Lynn Birmingham.
She is survived by: her son Gerry Coates of Solvang; her granddaughters, Megan Ricci (Brian) of Solvang and Arin Meade (Billy) of Oakley; and her great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Hannah Ricci. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
