It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Mildred Margeson of Scio, New York, born in Wellsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 17, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Burdick and Doris Collins Burdick; her husband Howard E. "Tom" Margeson; her children, James Margeson and Marilyn E. "Tiff" Slawson; and her siblings, Donald Burdick, Maxson Burdick and Eleanor Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Thomas Margeson (Lonnie) of Belmont and John Margeson (Pam) of Scio; her grandchildren, AdreAnn Barnhardt (Daniel), Thomas R. Margeson, Jaclyn Lignos (Michael), Peter Margeson (Ashley), Jeremy Slawson (Donna), Jeff Slawson (Jamie), Martin Margeson (Brandi), Jeffrey Margeson (Kari) and Joseph Margeson (Amanda); her brother Mason Burdick (Sally) of Greenwood; and her children-in-law, Thomas A. Slawson of Genesee, PA and Nancy Walsh of Allegany. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
