He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth A. Barton and Leone Barton (Thompson); and his wife Marion (Mellen). He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Bruneau (Todd), Daniel and Joseph Barton (Brittany); and his siblings, Steve Barton (Kathy Shaw) and Jacqueline Pierce (Bubbie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home (13 Gates Ave, Schuylerville, NY 12871, USA). The military honors was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Gerald Bh Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871).
