He is survived by: his wife Susan Smith of Gansevoort; his son Michael Smith (Jessica) of Gansevoort; his siblings, Rose Winchell of Gansevoort, Betty Gavin (Wayne) of Gansevoort, Lyn Voels (Blaine) of California and Robert Smith of Virginia; and his granddaughters, Emily and Sadie Smith of Gansevoort. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
