He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry VanArnum and Florence VanArnum; his wife Shirley; his stepson Joe Mahay; and his siblings, Stewart, Lloyd VanArnum, Evelyn Zublik and Shirley Jean.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Evone, Steve Mahay (Sharon Heim), Keith Mahay and Diane Durie (Robert); and his nieces, Cynthia Baker (Albert), Barbara Marshall and Carol Collins (Dave). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
