It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Elizabeth Polmateer of Schuylerville, New York, who passed away on November 1, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Rice and Sara Sidwell (Roe); her husband Howard; her brothers, William and Herbert Rice; and her grandson Brian Polmateer.
She is survived by:, Nellie Dumas (Jeff) of Schuylerville, Dawn Freeman (Steve) of Coudersport, PA, Chip Polmateer (Sue) of Schuylerville, Ron Polmateer (Pam) of East Durhum, Dennis Polmateer (Carrie) of Freehold, Lisa Biss (John) of Middle Grove, Bev Moras (Jim) of Latham and Mark Polmateer (Mikel).
Due to COVID-19, a private family service will be held with Zoom availability at the Schuylerville United Methodist Church on Thursday, November 5, 2020 followed by interment at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Schuylerville United Methodist Church, c/o Trustees, 51 Church St., Schuylerville NY 12871.
