He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Matthey and Winnifred Matthey (Koch); and his brothers, Robert Matthey of Collingswood, NJ and Dr. Wayne Matthey of Columbus, SC.. He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa of Hermosa Beach, CA, Brittany of Saratoga Springs, NY and Amanda of Saratoga Springs, NY; his grandson Ryan of Hermosa Beach, CA; his nephews, Judson Matthey, Daniel Matthey and Robert Matthey; and his niece Jennifer Matthey.
