He is survived by: his wife Terry Oathout Ferris; his grandchildren, Brittany, Brenden, Makayla, Hunter, Logan, Pyper, Grace and Daniel; his sister Karen Charland (Bill) of Rotterdam; his mother-in-law Jean Oathout; his parents, Valerie Noonan and Peter Ferris Jr.; his stepbrother William Carr Jr.; his father-in-law Clifford Oathout; his sister-in-law Sherry Harwood; and also, James Ferris of Schen, Patti Kiskis (Daniel) of Galway, David Ferris (Sara) of Scotia, Peter, Tim, Deb, Cindy, Rich, Denise, Chip, Glenn and Pete. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

We would like to give a very special thank you to Denise and Ralph Downs for sharing their home and hearts during this very difficult time in our lives.In lieu of flowers, a memorial contributions may be made on behalf of Peter to any Animal rescue or The . At the request of Peter there will be no formal visitation.A graveside service will take place on Friday, May 18th, 2018 at 9 a.m. at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY 12871.
