She is survived by: her children, Josette Zimmerman (Klaus) and Nelson Snowden (Sarah); her grandsons, Stefan Zimmerman (Julie) and Adam Russell Snowden; and her great grandchildren, Stefan, Klaus and Zoe.

She also knitted and crocheted, donating many handmade shawls to the Quaker Springs United Methodist Church for their outreach program.
