He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen M. Doescher and Arthur Gronau; and his stepparent John Tully. He is survived by: his wife Wilma; his children, John A. Gronau, Jr. (MaryAnne), Janice Davis (Robert), Mary Grace Petralito (James), Thomas Gronau (late Mary Beth) and Paul Gronau (Donna); his stepchildren, Larry Gregory (Cecile) and Doris Livingston (Harry); his grandchildren, Christian Davis (Megan), Jack Gronau, Kyle and Daniel Gronau; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Catherine and Amelia Davis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donations can be made in Jack's name to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society or the Community Hospice.
