He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Spetla and Mary Spetla; his wife Betty Jo; and his siblings, Hank, Chuck, Joe, Millie, Marge, Elsie and Vivian.
He is survived by: his children, Harold Spetla, Jr., Robert Spetla, Tracey Duggan and Tamara Bratjan; and his sister Shirley Hausler. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in memory of Harold may sent to Judson Meadows, 39 Swaggertown Road, Glenville, NY 12302 and will be used towards the purchase of a transportation van for the residents.
