It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Groves Altamari (Schuylerville, New York), born in Ashokan, New York, who passed away on October 26, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Louis; her son Michael Altamari; and her siblings, John Groves, George Groves, Lillian Newman and Vivian Travis.

She is survived by: her parents, John Groves and Lillian Noel; her sons, Jeffrey Altamari (Janet) and Christopher Altamari (Susan); and her grandchildren, Kate Schwartz (Devon), Dominique Altamari and Skylar Altamari.
