He was predeceased by: his parents, David Crotty and Mary Hauptman Crotty; and his former wife Beatrice M. Kenney Crotty. He is survived by: his fiancée Patricia Palmateer of Waterford; his children, Edwin Shudt (Carolyn) of Waterford, Daniel A Crotty (Dyanne) of Indian Lake and Mary Crotty of Slingerlands; his sisters, Virginia Crotty and Mary Ann Willetts of Troy; and his grandchildren, Dillon Horick, Lisa St. John, Kimberly, Edwin and Thomas Shudt.
