He was predeceased by: his parents, Omar Donaldson and May Morris Donaldson; his son Kevin Donaldson; and his brothers, Omar Donaldson and Alfred Donaldson.

He is survived by: his wife Clara Donaldson; and his sister Martha LaMarche. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends.
