He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Calmbacher and Alice Calmbacher (Devine). He is survived by: his close friend Beverly Gogola; his wife Mary Calmbacher (Sheehan); his children, Alice Hage (Eddie) of Valley Cottage, NY, Bill Calmbacher (Amanda) of Burnsville, Minnesota and Carol Herring (Keith) of West Berlin; and his grandchildren, Conor, Nicole, Aisling and Joey.
