We are sad to announce that on February 28, 2025, at the age of 84, Rose Nancy Welch of Schroon Lake, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dumar and Frances Dumar (Brooks); her siblings, William Dumar, Jr., Thomas Dumar, Katherine Moynihan (Dumar), Margaret Kolodzey (Dumar), Justine "Ann" Welch (Dumar), Teresa Shufelt (Dumar), Etta and Edward Dumar; her former husband Clarence Welch; and her parents-in-law, Peter and Edna Welch (Shufelt).
She is survived by: her children, David Welch of Ticonderoga, Elizabeth Welch of Comstock, Peter "Rusty" Welch of Saratoga and Sandra Wallace (David Zido) of Nassau; her grandchildren, Osaunnia Hart (Chelsey), Samantha Welch (Trevor Goodermote), Brandi Planty, Benjamin Planty and Hailey Rose Welch; her great grandchildren, Harmony Hart and Melody Hart; and her sisters, Marion Noel (Dumar) of Ticondergoa and Carol Roth (Dumar) of Schroon Lake.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Nancy's honor be made to the Schroon Lake Fire Department, 28 Industrial Dr, Schroon Lake, NY 12870.
