He was predeceased by: his parents, Delore Surprenant and Rose Lesperance Surprenant; his daughter Terry Pechette; and his siblings, Anna Wilkie, Rita Miller, Robert and Elwood Surprenant (Kittie Clark).
He is survived by: his sons, Ronald (Margaret) and Michael Surprenant; and his son-in-law David Pechette. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, several nieces, and many friends.
