It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia C. Mauhs of Schoharie, New York, born in Salisbury, North Carolina, who passed away on April 2, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Annie Laurie Cole of Salisbury; her children, Carrie Mauhs-Pugh and Fred Mauhs; her children-in-law, Tom Mauhs-Pugh and Cathy Ruhland; her grandchildren, Alexandra, Ian, Annie Laurie, Eliza, Eric, Virginia and Margaret; her granddaughter-in-law Giselle; her great grandchildren, Mikal and Myra; her sister Margaret; and her sisters-in-law, Donna Mauhs and Audrey Cole.
