With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rita E. Pickard of Schoharie, New York, born in Mineola, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Johnson and Angelica Johnson (Burkett); her husband Jack Pickard; her grandson David C. Murphy III; her daughter-in-law Mary Jane Murphy; and her siblings, Barbara, Eleanor, Alfred, Betty and Roger.
She is survived by: her children, David C. Murphy, Jr. of Rockville Centre and Maureen Guernsey of Schoharie, NY; and her grandchildren, Maureen Bernhardt (Ken), Douglas Stinson (Amanda), James Stinson (Elizabeth) and Colleen Gordon (James). She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.
