He is survived by: his children, Courtney Smida, Amber Smida, Curtis Smida (Veronica Castro) and Devan Smida (Ana Tessitore); his grandchildren, Kylynn Johnson, Kambrie Johnson and Ivory Smida; and his siblings, Mark Smida (Deborah), Michael Smida (Laurie), Melissa Young (Richard) and Drake.
