He is survived by: his parents, Howard Sr and Raye Canastra Sr. of Schoharie; his siblings, Howard Canastra Jr. (Carla), Christine Haglund (Kal), Karen Olmo (Tony) and Daniel Canastra (Ann); and his significant other Pat Fonda. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
