With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lewis B. Eldred (Schoharie, New York), born in Baldwin, New York, who passed away on October 5, 2019 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Eldred and Elsie Eldred (Davis); his wife Inge Eldred (Hornemann); his children, Heidi Finch (Dale) of Catskill, Lewis Eldred (Robin) of Kinston, NC and Thomas Eldred of Root; his grandchildren, Laura Finch Hereha, Justin Finch, Lewis Eldred Jr and Heather Davis; and his great grandchildren, Colette Finch, Kennedy Finch, Andrew Hart, Violet Davis and Holly Davis.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mr. Eldred to the Stratton VA Hospital, 113 Holland Ave., Albany NY 12208 where Lewis had been lovingly cared for since 1977.
