With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ethel J. Pierce of Schoharie, New York, born in Amsterdam, New York, who passed away on January 24, 2024 at the age of 73. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ethel J. Pierce to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Pierce and Charline Pierce (Covey); and her sister Bonnie Cummings. She is survived by: her close friend Garritt Lockwood; her son Martin Pierce, Sr. (Jamie) of Schoharie; her grandchildren, Brooke Duell (Matt), Samantha Pierce (Pete Ellis) and Martin Pierce, Jr.; and her sisters, Judy Sawyer and Connie Wright. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Schoharie Fire Department where her son serves as a chief.
