It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth J. Cater of Schoharie, New York, born in Albany, New York, who passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Robert C. Fink; and her husband Karl James Cater. She is survived by: her mother Elizabeth Jean Van Valkenburgh (Hollenbeck); her daughters, Eliza Cater, Carla Cater (Dan Smith) and Samantha Smith (Adam); her brothers, Nathanael, Matthew and Robert; and her half-sister Barbara. She is also survived by five step-grandchildren.
