He was predeceased by: his wife Rita G. (Seuling); his daughter Beverly Akin; and his siblings, Julia Fidler and Frank DiCocco. He is survived by: his sons, Steven L. DeCocco (Laurie) of Princetown and Ronald W. DeCocco (Yvonne) of Duanesburg; his grandsons, Raymond Gordon and Justin Akin; his stepgrandson Joseph; his great grandchildren, Hunter and Lucas; his siblings, Lucy Johnson (late Edward) of Rotterdam, Milio DiCocco (Kunigunde) of Princetown, Palma DeLapp (late Pete) of Princetown and Ralph "Henry" DiCocco (Linda) of Princetown; and his son-in-law David Akin of Schaghticoke. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Langan Funeral Home (327 Main St, Schoharie, NY 12157). A prayer will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Dana Farber Cancer and Research Hospital, 450 Brookline Ave., Boston, MA 02215.
