With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chester A. Hensel of Schoharie, New York, born in Martville, New York, who passed away on October 14, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hensel and Olive Hensel (Knotts); and his siblings, Ralph, George Jr., Howard, William, John, Elizabeth and Jessy Mae.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Hensel (Croote); his sons, Chester Hensel (Theo) of Delaware and Donald Hensel (Michelle) of Rochester, NY.; his daughter-in-law Gail Hensel (Ruland) of Delaware; his grandchildren, Amanda Smith (Thomas) of Maryland, Courtney Hensel of Delaware, Ryan Hensel of Buffalo and Jason Hensel of North Carolina; and his great grandchildren, Isabella Simile of Maryland, Grayson Smith of Maryland and Damon Smith of Maryland.
