With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Caroline E. Babbitt of Schoharie, New York, born in Troy, New York, who passed away on November 30, 2023 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Aloysius Baniak and Mary Baniak (Krakieivicz); her husband Douglas E. Babbitt; and her siblings, Rev. Walter F. Baniak, Michael Henry Baniak, Josephine Trela, Frances "Fritz" Printsky, Vince Baniak, Sr., Mary Angela, Edward Baniak and Helen Shallock.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen E. Livingston (Thomas) of Howes Cave, Steven D. Babbitt of Schoharie, Daniel O. Babbitt (Karen) of Seminole, FL and Lee A. Babbitt (Davianne) of Hawthorne, CA; her grandchildren, Jaden and Nathan Babbitt; her stepgrandchildren, Francis, Harry Barcelo and Camille Ybarra; and her brother Victor Baniak of St. Paul, MN. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
