She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Thompson and Frances Thompson (Shutt); her husband Robert J. Fain; and her sisters, Ruth Lewis and Beverly Hayman.
She is survived by: her children, Betty M. Fain of Davidson, NC, Mary F. Griffith (William) of Caroga Lake, NY, Robert J. Fain (Nelsie) of Prescott, AZ, Joseph E. Fain (Carmela) of Middleburgh, David M. Fain (Helen) of Shelburne Falls, MA and Elizabeth Yakoobian (Vincent) of Davidson, NC; and her brother Charles Thompson. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
