It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Della M. Howard of Schodack Landing, New York, born in Troy, New York, who passed away on August 11, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Burgess and Bertha May Miller Burgess; and her brother Irwin Burgess (Dawn). She is survived by: her daughter Carole Bailey (Chuck); her grandchild Elyssa Bailey; her great-niece Jessica Bouchard; and her brother James Burgess (late Jean). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to restrictions of the pandemic and in an effort to keep family and friends healthy and safe, Della's family has chosen to have services at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Della's memory may be made to the Church of the Good Shepherd, 89 Hudson Avenue, Green Island, NY 12183.
