He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Hopper of Luke's Church; his children, Darrin W. Hopper (Isabelle) and Christine Laird (Neil); and his siblings, Walter Hopper and Harriet Prescott.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501.
