Warren M. Starr Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Warren M. Starr (Schenectady, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 1, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron Starr and Beatrice Starr (Swatling). He is survived by: his wife Scherry Starr (Dona); his children, Sherri Porter (Ernest), David Starr, Gary Starr, Randy Starr (Shaunna) and Todd Starr; his grandchildren, Zachary Porter, Emilee Porter, Dakoda Puorto (Gianluca), Heather Pennel (Adam), Gary Starr (Monica), Tyler Starr, Gavyn Starr and Reece Starr; his great grandchildren, Lucian Gardner, Thomas Starr and Massi Puorto; his siblings-in-law, Gerald Snyder, Ralph and Linda Ross; and his cousin Charles Swatling (Jan). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bond Funeral Home (1614 Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY 12306). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Rotterdam United Methodist Church (1915 Helderberg Ave, Rotterdam, NY 12306).
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Warren's memory to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
