He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Ammon and Elisabeth Ammon; and his siblings, Bruno Ammon, Kira Hoelzli and Rita McGee.
He is survived by: his wife Rosina Heidi Marie Ammon; his children, Udo Allain Ammon (Donnalyn) and Christopher Georg Ammon (Christine); and his grandchildren, Emily Catherine, Alexander Michael (Bud), Andrea Marie (Peeps) and Ethan Christopher.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, NY 12205). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871).
In Lieu of flowers memorial donations in Udo's honor can be made to Community Hospice.
