Roberta A. Farrell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roberta A. Farrell (Schenectady, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 24, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Ash and Harold Ash; and her sister Christine Collingwood. She is survived by: her significant other Steve Carmel; her children, Jay Farrell of Nashville, TN and Gwen Knapp (Gerry) of Baton Rouge, LA; her grandchildren, Gerry Knapp (Alexis) of Knoxville, TN and Eva Bryan (John) of Birmingham, AL; her nieces and nephews, Joe Collingwood (Nancy), Scott Collingwood (Diane), Jennifer Shore and Stephanie Cole (Peter); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Robert Collingwood, Brian Collingwood, Evan Newman, Dani Newman, Phoebe Cole, Greg, Kelly, Oliver Kuzia-Carmel, Mike and Abby Kuzia-Cowan.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home (1605 Helderberg Ave, Rotterdam, NY 12306). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a contribution in Roberta's name to the Sierra Club.
