He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wright and Elizabeth Wright (Reed); his long time loves, Janice McHarg and Elizabeth Donahue; and his siblings, Charles "Scrub" Wright, John "Bug" Wright, Ernest "Pike" Wright, Ralph "Roddy" Wright, Vernon "Tot" Wright, Thomas Wright, Raymond "Buzz" Wright, Robert Wright, Shirley Allen and Doris "Jean" Podmore.

He is survived by: his children, Norman Wright Jr., Donald Wright, Eric Wright, Melinda Seymour (BJ) and Lori Clark (Ken); and his brothers, James "Bingo" Wright and Roger Wright. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
