The memory of Maria Galofaro (Schenectady, New York), who passed away on December 23, 2024 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Giuseppe Paratore and Santa Paratore; and her husband Angelo Galofaro. She is survived by: her children, Giuseppe Galofaro (Maureen), Santina Roberts (Sam) and Angela Galofaro (John Cerone); and her grandchildren, Marina, Nicole, Diana, Angelo, Christopher, Kayla, Gianna, John, Nicholas, Madeline, Mitchell and Alyse. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Church (816 Union St, Schenectady, NY 12308). An entombment was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at the St. Anthony's Cemetery (27 Glenridge Rd, Schenectady, NY 12302).
