With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marguerite Burns of Schenectady, New York, born in Central Village, Connecticut, who passed away on October 20, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marguerite Nichols and James Nichols; her husband Robert Burns; and also Marie McDermott. She is survived by: her sister Janet Fernandes of Brooklyn, CT; her children, Marguerite Paludi (Ronald), Ellen Norton (Stanley), Robert Burns (Christine), David Burns (Andrea), Alice Capper (Ian), Mark Burns and Suzanne Heilbron; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Joseph, Allison, Dan, Stephen, Kristi, Lindsey, Meghan, Trish, Amy, Jessica, Kaitlyn, Breanna, Benicio, Christopher and Heather Capper; and her great grandchildren, Makenna, Rowan, Vienna, Evelina, Samba, Addison, Reyna, Eddie, Jeremy, Ryan, Madalynn, Samantha and Jude.
